Cromox conveyor chains made of stainless steel (inox)
Smooth and efficient
The high-quality cromox® conveyor chains are made of high-strength stainless steel (AISI 316L or AISI 318LN Duplex), gauge and are additionally blasted for a particularly smooth surface. This makes them particularly robust and they run almost frictionless over the sprockets, for an even more efficient production process. They are available with a breaking force of 36 kN to 580 kN.
Robustness and durability: the most important quality characteristics of conveyor chains
Conveyor chains are used day and night in many industrial plants and are therefore a highly stressed and essential part of the production process. If they are made of high-quality, robust materials, they help increase production efficiency and reduce downtime. Choosing the right conveyor chain depends on several factors, including the type of materials to be moved, the speed required and the environmental conditions. It is important to regularly inspect the conveyor chain for wear and damage to ensure optimal performance.
Stainless steel: the optimum material for conveyor chains
High-quality conveyor chains are characterized by their reliability, durability and ease of maintenance. These are properties that the material inox steel brings with it. Its high corrosion resistance makes it durable and easy to clean. Hardly any contaminating material settles on its smooth surface, even under the toughest conditions, whether in the chemical industry or at extreme temperatures. Chains made of stainless steel run almost frictionless over the sprockets. In addition, its high strength makes it particularly suitable for high and permanent loads to which conveyor chains are often exposed, especially in the bulk materials or steel industry.
